With the new train running from Bangalore to Thalaguppa, I was waiting for an opportunity to travel by train, especially sitting by the window seat and gazing at nature. I was excited to see so many of them traveling in the same direction when we boarded the train in Bangalore. As the journey progressed the train stopped at different stations, some popular destinations and some unheard destinations. At every stop, there were people hopping in and out of the train. The journey was interesting with some of the co-passengers, while some co-passengers instantly put me off by asking unnecessary questions. There were some silent times too where I sat and observed my thoughts. The train reached Thalaguppa which was the last stop while I was asleep. My coupe was empty when I woke up, got down from the train and I looked at the platform there were very few who traveled to Thalaguppa. I realized that indeed life is a journey. You will see some exciting times, boring times, and challenging times, some people participate, some are onlookers, some get deeply involved and only some people make an impact. At times you feel that life should just stop at this moment and sometimes you would want to run away from the situation. Irrespective of how you feel, you have to keep moving because you have your destination to reach. Some cherished memories, some future plans and in anticipation of happy moments you will want to continue the journey.
